以现代景观规划设计理论与方法、园林建筑文化与旅游规划、地域文化与遗产保护研究、生态资源与城市可持续规划为特色科研方向，为学校、上海乃至国家社会经济建设提供 支撑和智库服务，实现产、学、研一体化的校级研究所。 研究所形成四大研究板块: 现代景观规划设计理论与方法。该方向综合地理学、建筑 学、心理学及城市规划等学科知识，探讨景观设计及其发展、人性化景观环境设计等内容，探索观景人与景观的互动 规律，并结合城市景观设计的实践，对城市景观设计进行系 统研究。 园林建筑文化与旅游规划。该方向是以园林建筑文化与园林 建筑史为基础，通过园林文化与旅游资源的保护与利用、规划与开发以及经营与管理等方面的有机结合，探究市场环境下的风景旅游规划与游憩景观规划设计的理论与方法。 地域文化与遗产保护研究。该方向以地域文化与遗产的保护与合理利用为主要目标，注重培养研究者对文化遗产的价值评估，通过研究提升社会各界对文化景观资源的认知，进一 步认识文化遗产的内在价值及其对城乡发展的作用，以及对社会、文化、经济建设的积极意义。 生态资源与城市可持续规划。该方向综合运用环境资源学、 材料学、建筑学、美学等学科知识，探索可持续景观设计方法、营造具有可持续性的环境。同时，结合一些新的工程技术手段，进行 城市可持续规划的研究和设计，探索新型城镇化的道路。

Theory and method of modern landscape planning and design. The direction of comprehensive geogra- phy, psychology, architecture and urban planning discipline knowledge, discusses the landscape design and development, human nature landscape design content, such as exploring the view with the interaction of the landscape, and combined with the practice of urban landscape design, the system study on the urban landscape design.

Landscape architecture culture and tourism planning.
